I see you’ve followed the rabbit!
I like you, foolishly brave one 😉
Actually, I’m no rabbit;
I’m just someone that just like you, one day also followed a rabbit, and it took me to some magical lands!
Now, like all Great Adventures, it took me a bit of foolishness and a whole deal of recklessness to take that first step into the road that first took me to the Oregonian woods.
But I was just 15 at that time, and temerity is surely a teenager’s most useful yet dangerous asset.
Things got a bit easier and a bit harder along the road.
I won’t honey it for you: it ain’t always fairies and unicorns.
But since you’ve read my first introduction, you’re not looking for Comfortland; it means you’re thinking a little bit differently than most, a tiny bit outside the box.
That alone, makes us travel companions already!
Know that, although sometimes challenging, I never once regretted following the rabbit.
I travelled through lands and mountains and oceans, deserts and forests and highways-
from Eastern Europe, to the Great Wall of China and the lesser great ones,
I’ve been a teacher, a sister, a helper,
an aimless wanderer and a fitness trainer,
I went through sleepless night on crowded trains and hiked more miles my tracking app will ever be able to record on dolomite trecks and through the Italian Alps,
I’ve been a researcher and an apprentice,
rarely a tourist and always a scholar,
I swam and sweated and sweared under the Mediterranean sun,
met not as many people and cultures as I wished I did and still I’m hopping along the white rabbit.
To change myself.
To grow myself.
To change the world.
What do you say?
Are you up for the ride?
Like this rabbit? Follow me on my Great Adventures!
